3 Weeks!

Jaxson is now 3 weeks old and I can already tell he has grown! We go to the Doctor for his 1 month check up next week. I will be anxious to see how much he weighs. Last week he was 6 lbs. 4 oz. I am hoping he's almost 7 lbs! He's so small! My cats weigh more than him! He is more awake now. He still screams bloody murder when we give him a bath. He also cries everytime we change his diaper. It breaks my heart! I just fall more in love with him everyday!

New Beginnings

Here are some new pictures. It is so hard now to get around to the everyday things that I'm use to. But I don't mind! Jaxson is doing so good! We go to the Peditrician on Monday and hopefully he will be over his Jaundice and will be a little bigger! He is definitly an eater. Right now all he does is eat & sleep. I'm looking forward to when he's more alert and awake. But I cherish every moment right now!

Jaxson Charles Velek!!!

Jaxson Charles Velek was born February 3, 2009 at 9:30 pm. I had a Dr. appt that day and had dilated to a 4. The Dr. said that I was ready and if I wanted, we could go ahead and have him. Adam and I were not expecting him to say that so we went on over the Labor & Delivery and got the process started. They broke my water and gave me potossin. I pushed for 2 hours. Everything went great! Labor wasn't bad at all. Just exhausting!

We left the hospital on Friday because Jaxson had some Jaundice. We got to the peditrician tomorrow. I am very anxious to see how much he weighs now. The breast feeding is extremely challenging but I'm not giving up!
